Safe Step Track Systems specializes in the field preparation and professional installation of Solo-Step® overhead track systems.

Working in coordination with Solo-Step and the customer facility, we evaluate site conditions, prepare for installation and complete the specialized field work required to professionally install each system.

Every facility presents different structural and above-ceiling conditions. Our experience allows us to identify those conditions early and develop an installation approach appropriate for the approved Solo-Step system and the facility.

1 - Site & Installation Assessment

When required, Safe Step Track Systems evaluates the proposed installation area to document conditions that may affect installation.

This may include room dimensions, ceiling height and type, structural conditions above the ceiling, existing lighting and equipment locations, and potential obstructions such as HVAC ductwork, sprinkler systems, conduit and plumbing.

This information helps Solo-Step and the installation team identify potential installation requirements before work begins.

2 - Installation Layout & Coordination

We work with Solo-Step and the customer facility to help translate the approved system configuration into the physical installation space.

Careful layout helps ensure that the track is properly positioned relative to therapy equipment while accounting for ceiling conditions, lighting, HVAC, sprinklers and other building components.

When appropriate, drawings and layout tools may be used to help confirm track placement before installation begins.

3 - Installation Preparation & Pre-Assembly

Preparation before arriving at the facility helps reduce installation time and disruption to normal operations.

Safe Step Track Systems prepares the specialized installation hardware, support components, installation materials and tools required for the specific site conditions. When appropriate, installation components may also be pre-assembled or prepared in advance.

This allows our installation team to arrive at the facility organized and prepared to complete the work efficiently.

4 - Professional Installation

This is where our specialized field experience comes together.

Safe Step Track Systems installs the support structure and hardware required for the approved Solo-Step® track configuration, installs and aligns the track system, and completes the necessary finish work.

We routinely encounter challenging installation environments involving concrete structures, steel framing, wood framing, suspended ceilings and congested above-ceiling spaces containing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler systems and other building components.

Throughout the installation, we work carefully to minimize disruption to the facility and leave the completed installation area clean and professional.
